Our BBC Radio 4 Appeal has launched, raising vital funds for NYO Inspire, so that hundreds of teenagers can get involved and take their skills and talents to the next level.
We are delighted to welcome Alison Balsom, the incredible international trumpet soloist and inspirational educator, to present the appeal. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to shine a light on NYO Inspire, which offers FREE opportunities for teenage musicians from all backgrounds to develop together. Because for many, the powerful impact of orchestral music is out of reach – opportunities extremely limited, hard to access and unaffordable for many families. This is a cause very close to Alison’s heart, who says being part of NYO as a teenager opened up her future.
Donations made to this appeal will double in impact, thanks to a match funding pot from some of our dedicated supporters!
