Excerpts
Here are the audition excerpts for the Orchestra of 2026. Orchestral excerpts are an important part of your auditions and help you demonstrate your exploration and understanding of orchestral musicianship. They also enable the panel to establish how players of at different levels address the technical and musical challenges in the same repertoire.
You can also use these to work out if you feel you’re playing at around the standard to audition for the Orchestra.
