The National Youth Orchestra is coming to East Midlands, and we’re excited to meet you!
NYO Unite is a special day of music-making for musicians across the whole NYO Community. This event marks the start of our orchestral year and brings together teenagers from NYO Inspire and those attending a Final Round Assessment Day for the Orchestra.
Throughout the day, you’ll participate in sectional rehearsals with NYO Tutors, full orchestra rehearsals led by conductor Pablo Urbina, and a final performance to friends and family so they can hear what you have achieved!

NYO Inspire is a free musical adventure for teenagers who want music to be a bigger part of their lives. It’s open to musicians aged 13-18 years playing orchestral instruments at Grade 6 to 8+ level.
