NYO trumpet player Sam Moffitt says “I was honoured to be informed that my seat was to be supported by Ursula Jones whose late husband Philip was one of the best trumpeters ever produced by this country. Be assured everyone who backs the NYO financially by supporting seats, or by raising funds, that we, the current members of the orchestra appreciate it wholeheartedly and will continue to make the most of every moment of this fantastic experience.”
