The NYO is supported by an experienced and influential Board of non-executive Governors, under the chairmanship of Alan Rusbridger. Drawn from the fields of music, business, education and the media at a high level, the Board brings valuable expertise and experience to the NYO. As trustees, Governors are responsible for the policy and overall direction of the organisation, ensuring financial stability, acting as advocates and providing support and guidance for the Director and staff.
